Midday Supervisory Assistant

We are looking to appoint a dedicated Midday Supervisory Assistant, who will work well as part of a close team, to inspire and care for our amazing children during the lunchtime period.

As well as demonstrating commitment to our school values and to following and implementing the school's behaviour policy the successful candidate will have a sense of fun and provide opportunities for our children to flourish and grow. They will have excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to and empathise with our children. 

The post is for five days per week to cover the lunchtime period both inside the lunch hall and in the playground.  

We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to:

  • Use language and other communication skills that children can relate to
  • Demonstrate active listening skills
  • Empathise with the needs of children
  • Work within and apply all school policies e.g. behaviour management, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities
  • Work effectively with colleagues

And who can demonstrate:

  • A commitment to safeguarding 
  • Willingness to participate in training and developmental opportunities
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality on all school matters.

Hours of work: 5 hours per week
Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.45 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

Part- time Year 1 Teacher

Hours of work: 19.5
Working pattern: Part-time
(As the position is part-time, the above salary will be pro rata)
Fixed term for: 2 months

1 term Fixed term contract (maternity cover), 3 days per week, from 1st September 2024 to 25th October 2024 

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated teacher to join our staff team who:

  • is inspirational and creative
  • is passionate about teaching
  • is flexible and hard working
  • has high expectations of children’s achievements
  • can teach high quality phonics and early reading skills
  • is able to work as a team member

Visits are welcome although applicants will have ample opportunity to tour the school and spend time in classrooms if shortlisted for interview.

  • can teach high quality phonics and early reading skills
  • is able to work as a team member.
