Our school day at Maynards Green
Our school is organised into 7 teaching groups, with one class per year group from Reception through to Year 6.
Arrival and Departure:

Arrival time: Between 8:35am and 8:45am

Official start of the school day: 8:45am (morning registration)

Home time: 3:15pm
This means the school is open for 6.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, totaling 32.5 hours per week during the compulsory school day.

Afternoon Session:

1:15pm – 3:15pm
Children enjoy a lunch break from 12:15pm to 1:15pm, and a short morning break between 10:45am and 11:00am.
Break-Times and Snacks
As part of our Healthy Eating Policy, children are encouraged to bring in a healthy snack for break time.
Please note:

Snacks must not contain nuts

Options can go beyond fruit and vegetables—breadsticks, rice cakes, and similar items are welcome.
