2020 VIRTUAL TOUR & PRESENTATION

Hands LONG(4)

Dear Parents & Carers, due to current government guidance we are unable to offer face-to-face tours. Of course we are really sorry not to be able to offer this to prespective parents as we undertand how getting a feel for a school, by visiting, is so important when choosing a school. We are however, really pleased to be able to offer a virtual tour which can be found below along with a presentation from our EYFS Team.

If you have any further questions or would like any additional information regarding a place for September 2021, please email maynardsgreeneyfs@gmail.com and a member of the team will respond.

HEADTEACHERS WELCOME

Maynards Green Community Primary School is situated in a peaceful, rural setting adjacent to the beautiful Cuckoo Trail. Its buildings, extensively renovated in 2006, are clean, bright and smart and are further enhanced by attractive displays of children's work. There are currently 219 children on roll.

Children enjoy coming to school and parents find the school a safe and inspirational environment. The team of experienced staff quickly get to know the children and their families and work particularly hard to make learning interesting and enjoyable.

Children come first at Maynards Green School. We have a strong commitment to the care and nurture of our children and believe that when children are happy and feel safe, they are then free to learn and enjoy all aspects of school life.  They make good progress, and the standards in English, Maths and Science are consistently higher than those reached by similar schools both locally and nationally.

We offer a very rich learning experience for our children, both in and outside of the classroom. We use our extensive grounds at every opportunity and children enjoy many educational visits and visitors to the school to enrich their learning.

I hope you have enjoyed our virtual tour and would like to encourage you to pose questions via the email address provided. I am also extremely happy to talk to prospective parents, via telephone, should you have any further questions.

Thank you and I look forward to showing you our wonderful school!

Simon Hughes, Headteacher
