PE
At Maynards Green we endeavour to ensure all children participate in our dynamic, stimulating and varied PE programme, whilst teaching children how to cooperate with others as part of an effective team, understanding fairness and equity of play to embed life-long values.

● Teachers and specialist coaches will be involved in planning and providing challenging and enjoyable PE sessions, through a range of sporting activities including: invasion/net games, strike/ field games, gymnastic/dance, swimming/athletics and outdoor and adventure
● Children are encouraged to participate in a wide range of after school sports clubs
● Children are invited to attend competitive sporting events within the local area
● All year groups will attend swimming lessons on site and will be taught by an experience swimming coach
● Weekly House Team Sports to encourage cooperation, communication and good sporting attitudes
