OUTSTANDING PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT at MAYNARDS GREEN
In our most recent OFSTED May 2025 we retained an OUTSTANDING judgement in the area of Personal Development. Here are some of the things our children say make our school an amazing place to be!
Swimming Pool
We have our own onsite, indoor pool at Maynards Green.
We provide swimming lessons for 2 terms each year, for every year group, starting with our youngest pupils aged 4 and 5 in Reception.
Our school community is committed to raising funds every year to ensure our pupils continue to benefit from this fantastic facility.
Outdoor Learning
We have our own onsite Outdoor Learning area developed by our dedicated Outdoor Learning Teacher, Mr Townsend.
Outdoor learning is provided as part of our curriculum from Reception through to Y6.
We believe that opportunities to develop practical skills alongside building resilience, independence, teamwork are key to developing children's understanding of themselves and the world around them.
